A detailed analysis was done as to why rotation of the antenna was required and to overcome the problems the concept channel positioned antenna was selected which could drive a motor, save and recall positions. This was achieved by creating a prototype which did not include all additional user friendly features but included enough features to ensure that the project is viable.
Tests were carried out in order to ensure that all functions that were required to perform were successfully achieved and the problems that were encountered were rectified. Implementation issues that could arise once the product reaches the end user were also given consideration.
Overall we were able to create successful prototype of the concept and believe that our product has a great scope in the local market.
