Analysis - Why rotate an antenna?

Requirement of rotating the antenna is dependent on the architecture of the antenna, distance and direction of the transmitting towers.

The simplest of antennas would be a Dipole antenna. This would not be suitable for bad reception area as this is a low gain antenna, where the gain is 2.15 DBi. The most commonly used antenna is known as YAGI antenna which is known as a high gain antenna that has a gain of over 20 DBi. The significant difference could clearly be seen by the numbers mentioned above, YAGI antennas have a focused area in which it capture television signals as shown in the diagram below;

If the antenna is not positioned in line with the television signal there would be a loss in picture quality or no picture at all depending on the direction. In order to view multiple channels rotating a high gain antenna would give maximum picture quality.This would significantly help people in rural areas as the distance from transmission towers and geographic location could result in bad reception. This proposed product would help view television with best picture quality.
