How to recover data from hard disks.
There are several reasons for data loss on hard disk.
In case of any data loss you should immediately stop working on the affected drive.
The action to take depends on type of data loss. In accidental data loss, if you over write on accidentally deleted files it is very hard to recover them and it is very expensive to do so. Also you won’t be able to do it your self. You have to send your hard disk to recovery lab. Then you can use data recovery software to recover that data. There are lots of software available for this purpose.
In case of virus attack, If files are only deleted, you can recover them using software. However if your files were over written by virus, only option is using service of recovery lab. In this case you should clean viruses using anti virus software and you should turn never try to recover data on affected computer itself. You should plug your hard disk to a different computer and run recovery software on that computer.
If you ever encounter hard disk failures, to recover data you have to use lab recovery option. If you can hear noises from your hard disk, it is good idea to backup your data to a different hard disk before it is too late.
